Schenkopp really wants Yang Wenli to overthrow the government. He is making many indirect comments about that. But that would be against Yang Wenli's ideals, so that will probably never happen.

If anything Schenkopp knows Yang can single handedly overthrow the FPA leadership anytime he wants. Schenkopp also knows that Yang being in power would be the best for the FPA and weed out all the corruption that is slowly destroying the FPA. So in retrospect, Schenkopp just wants to follow a sensible leader who can actually save the FPA. However Yang knows that power corrupts the individual self and Yang doesn't want to be seen as a tyrant like the Goldenbaums.

Schenkopp had a greater understanding in term of corruption and has no allegiance with both the Empire and the FPA, hence he's making multiple attempts to convince Yang to become a Dictator as he's the only one who can stop Job Trunicht and later Reinhard.
He's an audience like us except he has the power to change history to favor Yang as the true star of the show.

I'm kind of disappointed with the music they used for Reinhard's declaration of war. In this version it just makes Reinhard sound angry, but the music in the original anime really adds a sense of dignity and righteous justice to it.

great episode, enjoyed it. lol schenkopp and red head dude both doing rotations and banging the same girls that want them. loved that schenkopp scene where he reflected on his childhood and remembers very well the look of disdain the immigration officials gave him as a child seeking a better life, like he was a pest or something. I've seen the original anime, and that scene always stayed with me and was wondering if it was gonna be shown in this version, glad they did it, i think the original did it better though, the way he described the immigration officials contempt towards him as a child stayed with me.

See the difference in power with Yang and Lohengram. Yang knows his limits, he truly reads the entire history and it's notable strategists which reflected his actions. All prominent strategist are bounded by one rule and it is "to stop needless bloodshed", hence being efficient in combat to fight the enemy with few losses on both sides or attack their morale to achieve victory (greatly highlighted on the capture of Iserlohn). Also one of the reason why he don't want to rebel though in this case might as well.

Yang really needs more than 1 week of break or hire an Anger Translator like in Key and Peele. He just wanted a few decades of peace these maderfaker lots wants some blood on the floor.

Im pretty sure Commander Yang was very hesitant to wage any war with Emperor Lohengramm. Somehow, the emperor sees this as an opportunity to have a direct confrontation with Iserohn and directly the FPA nations by allowing the Imperial Navy fleet to cross the passageway from Fezzan.
It is fair to say Fezzan really wanted those 2 superpowers to face each other & wont mind if Lohengramm's battleship pass through their corridor.
What the Fezzan didnt know is that their dominion might also be conquered by Imperial kingdom as the Blonde dude really frustrated & disgusted by Fezzan's chess games!!
